Iconic daredevil Evel Knievel dies at 69

A moment of silence for every kid who has ever hit a ramp and launched his bicycle into the air.

Evel Knievel, the red-white-and-blue-spangled motorcycle daredevil whose jumps over crazy obstacles including Greyhound buses, live sharks and Idaho's Snake River Canyon made him an international icon in the 1970s, died Friday. He was 69.

Knievel's death was confirmed by his granddaughter, Krysten Knievel. He had been in failing health for years, suffering from diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition that scarred his lungs.

Knievel had undergone a liver transplant in 1999 after nearly dying of hepatitis C, likely contracted through a blood transfusion after one of his bone-shattering spills.

In 1966 he began touring alone, barnstorming the West and doing everything from driving the trucks, erecting the ramps and promoting the shows. In the beginning he charged $500 for a jump over two cars parked between ramps.

He steadily increased the length of the jumps until, on New Year's Day 1968, he was nearly killed when he jumped 151 feet across the fountains in front of Caesar's Palace. He cleared the fountains but the crash landing put him in the hospital in a coma for a month.

In the years after the Caesar's crash, the fee for Evel's performances increased to $1 million for his jump over 13 buses at Wembley Stadium in London.

His most famous stunt took place in 1974 when he tried to ride a rocket-powered motorbike over the 400 metre-wide Snake River Canyon in Idaho.

Evel Knievel toys accounted for more than $300 million in sales for Ideal and other companies in the 1970s and '80s.

I had everyone of those toys.

It is too bad that he had to go out this way. It would have been more fitting to see him die in a daredevil stunt. .......something like attempting to jump his bike across Rosie O'Fat's gravyboat!

Retired Assistant Fire Chief Shows Up for Work Naked

A bad joke lands a former Johnson City, NY fire official in court. He was caught on camera wearing nothing but his fireman's hat and a smile.

ummmm.... he was from "Johnson" city. That is funny.

Retired Assistant Fire Chief Kenneth Rowe showed up at work naked to make his buddies laugh. Other firefighters took pictures and sent them to friend and coworkers. The pictures, however, ended up in the hands of police.

Rowe was arrested and charged with indecent exposure. He won't have to worry about losing his job, however. Rowe just retired after serving 20 years. His family says he went to work naked to celebrate his retirement.

I think any day that you show up to work naked is going to be your last day. Well, unless you are Amber Lynn.

McCain camp goes after CNN

The camp of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) hoped to capitalize Wednesday on what it says was a biased report on CNN about a campaign event at which a McCain supporter referred to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) as “the bitch.”

Hey, who hasn't?

Rick Davis, McCain’s campaign manager, said in an e-mail to supporters that CNN owes the Arizona Republican an apology for its reporting of the story.

“The CNN Network, affectionately known as the Clinton News Network, has stooped to an all-time low and is gratuitously attacking John McCain for not sufficiently defending Hillary Clinton enough when a South Carolina voter used the 'B' word to describe her when John McCain stopped into a luncheon yesterday at the Trinity restaurant in Hilton Head, S.C.,” Davis said in his e-mail.

Blah, blah, blah. Why in the hell should McCain defend that bitch? Is this a campaign, or not?  Lots of thhings are said in a campaign!

It has been that way forever.

Are we suddenly supposed to stop that, and defend a candidate because she is a woman?

A "woman" who wants to be seen as an equal to a man?? Well that  Face it Shovelers, . , referred to as a "woman" when sh thinks that it will help her politically?

She is supposed to be a superwoman. Why should she need a political opponent to defend her???!!!??? Are you strong enough to lead this country or are you a little bitch who is going to hide behind womanhood every time you face adversity?

The McCain campaign manager portrayed the CNN report as an attempt by the liberal media to stop the surging Arizona Republican.

"surging"??? Give me a break!!! This guy couldn't win if everyone else backed out. He would loose to a write in candidate!

“The liberal media has figured out that John McCain is the only thing that stands between a Hillary Clinton presidency, and they are therefore trying to stop the McCain comeback,” Davis said. “Simply put, CNN is scared that John McCain will beat Hillary Clinton. They are right to be scared.”

Cows escape near northern Utah McDonald's

Eight cows escaped from a trailer when the rear gate opened as the driver pulled into a McDonald's.

The cows screamed, "What the f**k??? I thought we were going to Chick-fil-A!!

It took about two hours to round them up yesterday.

The roundup was called "Operation Hamburger Helper."

Somewhere, Cousin Eddie is laughing.

If you didn't get that - let me know.

More than 1 million reported Chlamydia cases set STD record

More than 1 million cases of Chlamydia were reported in the United States last year -- the most ever reported for a sexually transmitted disease, federal health officials said Tuesday.

Chlamydia is the most common. Nearly 1,031,000 cases were reported last year, up from 976,000 the year before.

Nearly 90% of those cases were reported by people who'd had one-nighters with Paris Hilton and Madonna.

Read the rest of this disease ridden story if you want to.

My suggestion to you - if you are single and playing the field - is to just buy a full body condom or stop sleeping with the sot that you have to carry out of the bar.

Protesters Arrested for Attempting to Block Military Cargo in Olympia, WA

At least three more protesters were arrested Sunday as demonstrations continued against shipments of military cargo through the Port of Olympia.

Will hippies eve die off?

Others were sprayed with pepper spray by police as they tried to block trucks hauling equipment to Fort Lewis after it was unloaded from a ship carrying the gear back from Iraq.

Screw pepper spray! I miss shovels ..... eerrrr.. batons to the head....

Protests at the port began Tuesday, after the USNS Brittin arrived and began unloading equipment that had been used in Iraq by the 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division from Fort Lewis.

The anti-American left are such booger eating idiots! Don't be fooled, they aren't antiwar - they are anti-America!!!

Think about it - if they were antiwar, they would be blocking trucks hauling equipment that was heading to Iraq!!! They wouldn't be blocking the equipment that is coming back!

They should be welcoming that equipment home with open arms, peace signs and bong hits.

Those peacenik, leftwing freaks have the brains of a retarded dung beetle. When did we stop hanging traitors? Ummm.... Jane Fonda?

Dart Hits Shopper

An Omaha woman was struck in the head with a dart at the Wal-Mart store near 99th Street and Military Avenue Saturday.

Sherry Foster, 51, told officers she was injured as she was walking out of the store.

Foster was treated at the scene.

Don't bother clicking on the link, that is the entire article.

Just, wow! What an exhausting, deep probing, in depth report. This journalist deserves a Putz-puller award.

Maybe it was a devoted Wal-Mart employee who thought that the woman looked too much like a TARGET.

Keith Olberman  recycles by eating his own toilet paper.

Fighting fat and climate change

America's obesity epidemic and global warming might not seem to have much in common. But public health experts suggest people can attack them both by cutting calories and carbon dioxide at the same time.

How? Get out of your car and walk or bike half an hour a day instead of driving. And while you're at it, eat less red meat. That's how Americans can simultaneously save the planet and their health, say doctors and climate scientists.

About 6.5 billion gallons of gasoline would be saved.

I would love to see how they came up with those numbers.

And Americans would also shed more than 3 billion pounds overall.......

And that is just the combined poundage of former and present members of The View! We hear that Rosie O'Fat, who refuses to waddle....errr. walk - has been buying up carbon credits and literal TONS of blubber credits.

"A simple intervention like walking to school is a climate change intervention, an obesity intervention, a diabetes intervention, a safety intervention," Frumkin told The Associated Press.

And it would also cure gout, dingle berries, restless leg syndrome, anal leakage, carrot top and wrestle mania.

Watch American flags fall over as Hillary approaches them. This might be a sign!! WHAP!

Dagger in the heart of democrats

Madam Speaker, Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen of the United States Congress, Ladies and Gentlemen,

The state of our friendship and our alliance is strong.

Friendship, first and foremost, means being true to one's friends. Since the United States first appeared on the world scene, the loyalty between the French and American people has never failed. And far from being weakened by the vicissitudes of History, it has never ceased growing stronger.

Friends may have differences; they may have disagreements; they may have disputes.

But in times of difficulty, in times of hardship, friends stand together, side by side; they support each other; and help one another.

In times of difficulty, in times of hardship, America and France have always stood side by side, supported one another, helped one another, fought for each other's freedom.

Ummm, no. France has always cowered behind us while we took care of business. But we will disregard that for now, because this guy seems to get it.

The United States and France remain true to the memory of their common history, true to the blood spilled by their children in common battles. But they are not true merely to the memory of what they accomplished together in the past. They remain true, first and foremost, to the same ideal, the same principles, the same values that have always united them.

The deliberations of your Congress are conducted under the double gaze of Washington and Lafayette. Lafayette, whose 250th birthday we are celebrating this year and who was the first foreign dignitary, in 1824, to address a joint session of Congress. What was it that brought these two men--so far apart in age and background--together, if not their faith in common values, the heritage of the Enlightenment, the same love for freedom and justice?

From the very beginning, the American dream meant proving to all mankind that freedom, justice, human rights and democracy were no utopia but were rather the most realistic policy there is and the most likely to improve the fate of each and every person.

America did not tell the millions of men and women who came from every country in the world and who--with their hands, their intelligence and their heart--built the greatest nation in the world: "Come, and everything will be given to you." She said: "Come, and the only limits to what you'll be able to achieve will be your own courage and your own talent."

Amen!! This guy just nailed it! He just grabbed a big slab of truth, and slapped it in the face of our politicians.

.....note to all of you assholes who live to be reelected.....   Productive Americans are getting sick and tired of having to flip the bill for the worthless among us.

Keep buying your votes from people who can't afford to buy them- that won't last much longer - but of course you are too stupid to realize that.

Here, both the humblest and most illustrious citizens alike know that nothing is owed to them and that everything has to be earned. That's what constitutes the moral value of America. America did not teach men the idea of freedom; she taught them how to practice it. And she fought for this freedom whenever she felt it to be threatened somewhere in the world. It was by watching America grow that men and women understood that freedom was possible.

What made America great was her ability to transform her own dream into hope for all mankind.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The men and women of my generation heard their grandparents talk about how in 1917, America saved France at a time when it had reached the final limits of its strength, which it had exhausted in the most absurd and bloodiest of wars.

The men and women of my generation heard their parents talk about how in 1944, America returned to free Europe from the horrifying tyranny that threatened to enslave it.

Fathers took their sons to see the vast cemeteries where, under thousands of white crosses so far from home, thousands of young American soldiers lay who had fallen not to defend their own freedom but the freedom of all others, not to defend their own families, their own homeland, but to defend humanity as a whole.

Fathers took their sons to the beaches where the young men of America had so heroically landed. They read them the admirable letters of farewell that those 20-year-old soldiers had written to their families before the battle to tell them: "We don't consider ourselves heroes. We want this war to be over. But however much dread we may feel, you can count on us." Before they landed, Eisenhower told them: "The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you."

And as they listened to their fathers, watched movies, read history books and the letters of soldiers who died on the beaches of Normandy and Provence, as they visited the cemeteries where the star-spangled banner flies, the children of my generation understood that these young Americans, 20 years old, were true heroes to whom they owed the fact that they were free people and not slaves. France will never forget the sacrifice of your children.

To those 20-year-old heroes who gave us everything, to the families of those who never returned, to the children who mourned fathers they barely got a chance to know, I want to express France's eternal gratitude.

On behalf of my generation, which did not experience war but knows how much it owes to their courage and their sacrifice; on behalf of our children, who must never forget; to all the veterans who are here today and, notably the seven I had the honor to decorate yesterday evening, one of whom, Senator Inouye, belongs to your Congress, I want to express the deep, sincere gratitude of the French people. I want to tell you that whenever an American soldier falls somewhere in the world, I think of what the American army did for France. I think of them and I am sad, as one is sad to lose a member of one's family.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The men and women of my generation remember the Marshall Plan that allowed their fathers to rebuild a devastated Europe. They remember the Cold War, during which America again stood as the bulwark of the Free World against the threat of new tyranny.

I remember the Berlin crisis and Kennedy who unhesitatingly risked engaging the United States in the most destructive of wars so that Europe could preserve the freedom for which the American people had already sacrificed so much. No one has the right to forget. Forgetting, for a person of my generation, would be tantamount to self-denial.

But my generation did not love America only because she had defended freedom. We also loved her because for us, she embodied what was most audacious about the human adventure; for us, she embodied the spirit of conquest. We loved America because for us, America was a new frontier that was continuously pushed back--a constantly renewed challenge to the inventiveness of the human spirit.

My generation shared all the American dreams. Our imaginations were fueled by the winning of the West and Hollywood. By Elvis Presley, Duke Ellington, Hemingway. By John Wayne, Charlton Heston, Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth. And by Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins, fulfilling mankind's oldest dream.

What was so extraordinary for us was that through her literature, her cinema and her music, America always seemed to emerge from adversity even greater and stronger; that instead of causing America to doubt herself, such ordeals only strengthened her belief in her values.

What makes America strong is the strength of this ideal that is shared by all Americans and by all those who love her because they love freedom.

America's strength is not only a material strength, it is first and foremost a spiritual and moral strength. No one expressed this better than a black pastor who asked just one thing of America: that she be true to the ideal in whose name he--the grandson of a slave--felt so deeply American. His name was Martin Luther King. He made America a universal role model.

The world still remembers his words--words of love, dignity and justice. America heard those words and America changed. And the men and women who had doubted America because they no longer recognized her began loving her again.

Fundamentally, what are those who love America asking of her, if not to remain forever true to her founding values?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today as in the past, as we stand at the beginning of the 21st century, it is together that we must fight to defend and promote the values and ideals of freedom and democracy that men such as Washington and Lafayette invented together.

Together we must fight against terrorism. On September 11, 2001, all of France--petrified with horror--rallied to the side of the American people. The front-page headline of one of our major dailies read: "We are all American." And on that day, when you were mourning for so many dead, never had America appeared to us as so great, so dignified, so strong. The terrorists had thought they would weaken you. They made you greater. The entire world felt admiration for the courage of the American people. And from day one, France decided to participate shoulder to shoulder with you in the war in Afghanistan. Let me tell you solemnly today: France will remain engaged in Afghanistan as long as it takes, because what's at stake in that country is the future of our values and that of the Atlantic Alliance. For me, failure is not an option. Terrorism will not win because democracies are not weak, because we are not afraid of this barbarism. America can count on France.

Together we must fight against proliferation. Success in Libya and progress under way in North Korea shows that nuclear proliferation is not inevitable. Let me say it here before all of you: The prospect of an Iran armed with nuclear weapons is unacceptable. The Iranian people is a great people. It deserves better than the increased sanctions and growing isolation to which its leaders condemn it. Iran must be convinced to choose cooperation, dialogue and openness. No one must doubt our determination.

Together we must help the people of the Middle East find the path of peace and security. To the Israeli and Palestinian leaders I say this: Don't hesitate! Risk peace! And do it now! The status quo hides even greater dangers: that of delivering Palestinian society as a whole to the extremists that contest Israel's existence; that of playing into the hands of radical regimes that are exploiting the deadlock in the conflict to destabilize the region; that of fueling the propaganda of terrorists who want to set Islam against the West. France wants security for Israel and a State for the Palestinians.

Together we must help the Lebanese people affirm their independence, their sovereignty, their freedom, their democracy. What Lebanon needs today is a broad-based president elected according to the established schedule and in strict respect of the Constitution. France stands engaged alongside all the Lebanese. It will not accept attempts to subjugate the Lebanese people.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

America feels it has the vocation to inspire the world. Because she is the most powerful country in the world. Because, for more than two centuries, she has striven to uphold the ideals of democracy and freedom. But this stated responsibility comes with duties, the first of which is setting an example.

Those who love this nation which, more than any other, has demonstrated the virtues of free enterprise expect America to be the first to denounce the abuses and excesses of a financial capitalism that sets too great a store on speculation. They expect her to commit fully to the establishment of the necessary rules and safeguards. The America I love is the one that encourages entrepreneurs, not speculators.

Those who admire the nation that has built the world's greatest economy and has never ceased trying to persuade the world of the advantages of free trade expect her to be the first to promote fair exchange rates. The yuan is already everyone's problem. The dollar cannot remain solely the problem of others. If we're not careful, monetary disarray could morph into economic war. We would all be its victims.

Those who love the country of wide open spaces, national parks and nature reserves expect America to stand alongside Europe in leading the fight against global warming that threatens the destruction of our planet. I know that each day, in their cities and states, the American people are more aware of the stakes and determined to act. This essential fight for the future of humanity must be all of America's fight.

Those who have not forgotten that it was the United States that, at the end of the Second World War, raised hopes for a new world order are asking America to take the lead in the necessary reforms of the UN, the IMF, the World Bank and the G8. Our globalized world must be organized for the 21st century, not for the last century. The emerging countries we need for global equilibrium must be given their rightful place.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Allow me to express one last conviction: Trust Europe.

In this unstable, dangerous world, the United States of America needs a strong, determined Europe. With the simplified treaty I proposed to our partners, the European Union is about to emerge from 10 years of discussions on its institutions and 10 years of paralysis. Soon it will have a stable president and a more powerful High Representative for foreign and security policy, and it must now reactivate the construction of its military capacities.

The ambition I am proposing to our partners is based on a simple observation: There are more crises than there are capacities to face them. NATO cannot be everywhere. The EU must be able to act, as it did in the Balkans and in the Congo, and as it will tomorrow on the border of Sudan and Chad. For that the Europeans must step up their efforts.

My approach is purely pragmatic. Having learned from history, I want the Europeans, in the years to come, to have the means to shoulder a growing share of their defense. Who could blame the United States for ensuring its own security? No one. Who could blame me for wanting Europe to ensure more of its own security? No one. All of our Allies, beginning with the United States, with whom we most often share the same interests and the same adversaries, have a strategic interest in a Europe that can assert itself as a strong, credible security partner.

At the same time, I want to affirm my attachment to NATO. I say it here before this Congress: The more successful we are in the establishment of a European Defense, the more France will be resolved to resume its full role in NATO.

I would like France, a founding member of our Alliance and already one of its largest contributors, to assume its full role in the effort to renew NATO's instruments and means of action and, in this context, to allow its relations with the Alliance to evolve.

This is no time for theological quarrels but for pragmatic responses to make our security tools more effective and operational in the face of crises. The EU and NATO must march hand in hand.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I want to be your friend, your ally and your partner. But a friend who stands on his own two feet. An independent ally. A free partner.

France must be stronger. I am determined to carry through with the reforms that my country has put off for all too long. I will not turn back, because France has turned back for all too long. My country has enormous assets. While respecting its unique identity, I want to put it into a position to win all the battles of globalization. I passionately love France. I am lucid about the work that remains to be accomplished.

It is this ambitious France that I have come to present to you today. A France that comes out to meet America to renew the pact of friendship and the alliance that Washington and Lafayette sealed in Yorktown.

Together let us be worthy of their example, let us be equal to their ambition, let us be true to their memories!

Nuff said.

Weather Channel Founder: Global Warming 'Greatest Scam in History'

 Just read............

It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; It is a SCAM.

Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data back in the late 1990's to create an illusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental wacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the "research" to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus.

Environmental extremist, notable politicians among them then teamed up with movie, media and other liberal, environmentalist journalists to create this wild "scientific" scenario of the civilization threatening environmental consequences from Global Warming unless we adhere to their radical agenda.

Now their ridicules manipulated science has been accepted as fact and become a cornerstone issue for CNN, CBS, NBC, the Democratic Political Party, the Governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmental conscientious citizens. Only one reporter at ABC has been allowed to counter the Global Warming frenzy with one 15 minutes documentary segment.

I do not oppose environmentalism. I do not oppose the political positions of either party.

However, Global Warming, i.e. Climate Change, is not about environmentalism or politics. It is not a religion. It is not something you "believe in." It is science; the science of meteorology. This is my field of life-long expertise. And I am telling you Global Warming is a nonevent, a manufactured crisis and a total scam. I say this knowing you probably won't believe me, a mere TV weatherman, challenging a Nobel Prize, Academy Award and Emmy Award winning former Vice President of United States. So be it.

I suspect you might like to say to me, "John, look the research that supports the case for global warming was done by research scientists; people with PH D's in Meteorology. They are employed by major universities and important research institutions. Their work has been reviewed by other scientists with PH D's. They have to know a lot more about it than you do. Come on, John, get with it. The experts say our pollution has created an strong and increasing greenhouse effect and a rapid, out of control global warming is underway that will sky rocket temperatures, destroy agriculture, melt the ice caps, flood the coastlines and end life as we know it. How can you dissent from this crisis? You must be a bit nutty.

Allow me, please, to explain how I think this all came about. Our universities have become somewhat isolated from the rest of us. There is a culture and attitudes and values and pressures on campus that are very different. I know this group well. My father and my older brother were both PHD-University types. I was raised in the university culture. Any person who spends a decade at a university obtaining a PHD in Meteorology and become a research scientist, more likely than not, becomes a part of that single minded culture. They all look askance at the rest of us, certain of their superiority. They respect government and disrespect business, particularly big business. They are environmentalists above all else.

And, there is something else. These scientists know that if they do research and results are in no way alarming, their research will gather dust on the shelf and their research careers will languish. But if they do research that sounds alarms, they will become well known and respected and receive scholarly awards and, very importantly, more research dollars will come flooding their way.

So when these researchers did climate change studies in the late 90's they were eager to produce findings that would be important and be widely noticed and trigger more research funding. It was easy for them to manipulate the data to come up with the results they wanted to make headlines and at the same time drive their environmental agendas. Then their like minded PHD colleagues reviewed their work and hastened to endorse it without question.

There were a few who didn't fit the mold. They did ask questions and raised objections. They did research with contradictory results. The environmental elitists berated them brushed their studies aside.

I have learned since the Ice Age is coming scare in the 1970's to always be a skeptic about research. In the case of global warming, I didn't accept media accounts. Instead I read dozens of the scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct when I assure you there is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril. It is all a scam, the result of bad science.

I am not alone in this assessment. There are hundreds of other meteorologists, many of them PH D's, who are as certain as I am that this global warming frenzy is based on bad science and is not valid.

I am incensed by the incredible media glamour, the politically correct silliness and rude dismal of counter arguments by the high priest of Global Warming.

In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious. As the temperature rises, polar ice cap melting, coastal flooding and super storm pattern all fail to occur as predicted everyone will come to realize we have been duped.

The sky is not falling. And, natural cycles and drifts in climate are as much if not more responsible for any climate changes underway.

I strongly believe that the next twenty years are equally as likely to see a cooling trend as they are to see a warming trend.

                                                                       Salute Veterans day!

AT&T gave feds access to all Web, phone traffic, ex-tech says

His first inkling that something was amiss came in summer 2002, when he opened the door to admit a visitor from the National Security Agency (NSA) to an AT&T office in San Francisco.

"What the heck is the NSA doing here?" Mark Klein, a former AT&T technician, said he asked himself.

A year or so later, he stumbled upon documents that, he said, show the agency gained access to massive amounts of e-mail, Web search and other Internet records of more than a dozen global and regional telecom providers. AT&T allowed the agency to hook into its network and, according to Klein, many of the other telecom companies probably knew nothing about it.

Klein, 62, said he may be the only person in a position to discuss firsthand knowledge of an important aspect of the Bush administration's domestic surveillance. He is retired, so he isn't worried about losing his job.

Blah, blah, blah! He isn't worried about loosing his job, but he sure is looking for a little limelight!  <he may be the only person in a position to discuss firsthand knowledge of an important aspect of the Bush administration's domestic surveillance> Ride it as far as you can, you wanna be! Give me a freaking break! -and a valium and 6 shots from the jug that grandpa keeps hidden out in the shed.

This is just another liberal attack on President Bush.  They act like he is listening to every conversation in the country, which he isn't.

Freaking idiots! The sickening thing is - if we are hit again - these same people will be screaming that he didn't do enough to monitor what our enemies were up to. WHAP!

Militant Group Is Out of Baghdad, U.S. Says

SHOVELLINE - BAGHDAD, Nov. 7 — American forces have routed Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia, the Iraqi militant network, from every neighborhood of Baghdad, a top American general said today, allowing American troops involved in the “surge” to depart as planned.

This story of success was all over the news, wasn't it?

Not only no, but HELL NO!

The media will never acknowledge any success or victory in Iraq. <well, that is unless a Democrat is in the White House.> WHAP!  WHAP! Our media blows goats!

The "surge" was successful and the troops involved are going to depart as planned. Hello?????? That should be deemed a success, no? The troops are coming home. Isn't that what every liberal has been demanding?

The left will avoid any story like this, because they want to see the troops come home defeated, not victorious. They yearn for embarrassment, not honor. Freaking anti-American, Godless, heathens! I want to take my shovel to all of them! WHAP!

Maj. Gen. Joseph F. Fil Jr., commander of United States forces in Baghdad, also said that American troops had yet to clear some 13 percent of the city, including Sadr City and several other areas controlled by Shiite militias. But, he said, “there’s just no question” that violence had declined since a spike in June

“Murder victims are down 80 percent from where they were at the peak,” and attacks involving improvised bombs are down 70 percent, he said.

Good news is not news to our press.

57% - Declining Confidence in Political Wisdom of Americans

Put your shovel down and take a deep breath before reading this.

While confidence in government has increased modestly in recent years,......

HOLD ON!!!!!! WHAT IN THE HELL is this idiot talking about?? Confidence in government is at an all time low!  We do not trust our government! The polls show it.

Case in point - the percentage of  people who believe that our government was responsible for 911 is greater than the percentage of people who think that our congress is doing a good job. (18% to 11%) Think about that! Brain ache.

- the public is increasingly suspicious of itself; in the most recent Pew Values Survey, fewer than six-in-ten (57%) say they have a good deal of confidence in the wisdom of the American people when it comes to making political decisions.

Did Hitlary write this?

"You are too stupid to know what to do! I will RULE you.   .....err..... I mean guideyou."

It looks like "We the people" has become a joke. Which is the way Hitlary wants it.

WHAP!!!

Transsexual arrested after exposing genitals to neighbors

A Mesa woman was arrested Saturday after police said she pulled down her pants during an argument with a neighbor.

Madonna???

Kendra Moore, 44, and a neighbor got into an argument at around 8:20 a.m. over whether Moore threw an egg on the neighbor's driveway on the 50 block of East Millett Avenue.

It didn't have eggs to begin with and it surely does not have eggs now. So how could it throw one on the driveway? ..oh,  I was thinking of eggs in a different --- oh, never mind!

The neighbor told police Moore walked over to him and continued to argue with him. Moore then pulled down her pants, exposing her genitals to the neighbor, his father and a 13-year-old boy, police said

Moore told police she pulled her pants down to prove she was female. Moore previously had a sex change from male to female, according to police reports.

Sorry, but you are still a male. Not to mention a freak of God's nature!

The altercation continued, and the neighbor picked up a crowbar non-threateningly, police said.

Unless your are about to pop off a hubcap - how do you pick up a crowbar in a non-threatening way??

Moore went back into her residence and got a BB gun and pointed it in the direction of the neighbor and the family members, according to police records.

The neighbor gathered his family, went inside their residence and called police.

Over a BB gun???

Nut up! There isn't a man in this story!

Cow falls from sky, barely misses couple

A Chelan County fire chief says a couple were lucky they weren't killed by a cow that fell off a 200-foot cliff and smashed their minivan. District 5 Chief Arnold Baker says they missed being killed by a matter of inches Sunday as they drove on Highway 150 near Manson.

Tom Arnold missed being killed by a matter of inches when Rosanne fell 2 feet from their beds headboard.

I wonder if this might have been a Chick-fil-A cow who had watched one too many triple cheese burger ads?

The 600-pound cow fell about 200 feet and landed on the hood of the minivan carrying Charles Everson Jr. and his wife Linda of Westland, Mich., who were in the area celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary. They were checked at Lake Chelan Community Hospital as a precaution.

The van was heavily damaged, including a broken windshield. Charles Everson says he kept repeating, "I don't believe this. I don't believe this."

This is udderly, udderly ridiculous.

The year-old cow had been reported missing by a breeder.

I guess that is a moooooooot point now.

This is Ted, the giant red head, Kennedy running his rum hole on the floor....

"My concerns began with Judge Mukasey's answers to our questions about waterboarding.  Waterboarding is a barbaric practice in which water is poured down the mouth and nose of a detainee, to simulate drowning.

It's an ancient technique of tyrants.

The prisoner is bound to an inclined board, feet raised and head slightly below the feet.  Cellophane is wrapped over the prisoner's face and water is poured over him.

Unavoidably, the gag reflex kicks in, and a terrifying fear of drowning leads to an almost instant plea to bring the treatment to a halt.  If it goes wrong, it can lead straight to terminal hypoxia.  When done right, it is controlled death."

How ironic - and sick - is it that Tipsy Ted is haranguing ANYONE on DROWNING!!??  WHAP!!

"When done right, it is controlled death."  What does that mean??? Hey whiskey boy! Getting loaded, driving your car in the creek and leaving your female passenger in the car to drown while you run around fretting about what this might do to your political career is a controlled death.

Go buy a new neck brace - it looks good wrapped underneath that enormous, bloated noggin of yours.

Pens Down, Picket Signs Up in Hollywood

The first strike by Hollywood writers in nearly 20 years got under way Monday with noisy pickets on both coasts -- a walkout that will disrupt everything from late-night talk shows to soap operas.

Jay Leno made a midmorning stop at NBC studios in Burbank and visited with strikers after the network said his late-night show would immediately go into reruns.

CBS, meanwhile, said "The Late Show with David Letterman" will also offer repeats all week.

The strike will not immediately impact production of movies or prime-time TV programs.

That is a shame! I guess that means that the suckage will continue unabated. Oh well, did you expect anything else?

Most studios have stockpiled dozens of movie scripts, and TV shows have enough scripts or completed shows in hand to last until early next year.

These union idiots need to remember one word - REALITY TV!!! American idiots love that crap - and it doesn't require the "talents" of these 'writers'.

"Reality TV" has become so popular solely because the stuff that those union writers are belching out just sucks! It isn't funny.

Nothing is more annoying than canned laughter.

Police: Jewish GW Student Admits Putting Swastikas On Her Door

George Washington University officials said a Jewish student who complained about swastikas showing up on her door put them there herself.

What a little self-absorbed, attention starved, princess whore. Whap!

The student lives in Mitchell Hall, where half a dozen swastikas had shown up on her dorm room door in the past several weeks.

Umm... half a dozen had shown up? No, dumbass journalist -- that would be....... where she put half a dozen swastikas on her own door! Freaking idiot! Media people just can't get out of their own way.

University police set up a hidden camera. They said the girl admitted responsibility Monday.

The student now faces disciplinary action from the school and could face criminal charges.

I don't think she has to worry about that. She is Jewish, so I am sure that half of the people in her speed dial are lawyers. Hehehehee....sorry, couldn't help myself.

Fond du Lac Police Looking for McDonald's Robber

Fond du Lac police are looking for a man they say robbed the McDonald’s on W. Johnson St. Thursday night.

Mayor Mc Cheese grimaces and offers a reward of hot apple pies to anyone with any information.

Investigators say the robbery happened just before midnight, when the man rode up the drive-up window on a bicycle and demanded money.  The man implied he had a gun, but never showed a weapon.  He got away on his bicycle with an undetermined amount of cash.

We hear that Lance Armstrong - who is half nuts - was not available for comment.

And you thought you had a bad day...

SHOVELLINE - MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man was arrested on Thursday after a bizarre series of events that included him crashing his car, getting shot by a homeowner, breaking a restaurant window and stripping to his underwear.

Police said it all started when the man crashed his car into a pole and started banging on the door of a nearby house. After he kicked in a window, homeowner Leroy Bruce shot him.

Bruce said the man ran off and left his pants and other clothing behind. The bleeding suspect fled to a McDonald's and threw a rock through the front window.

Witness Lisa Fuqua told WMC-TV that the man was easy for police to identify and that he 'had to be on some high-powered something."

The suspect, who wasn't identified, was taken to th e Regional Medical Center. Police said they'll charge him when he's released.

Officers said when they found the man at the restaurant, he had stripped to his shirt and under shorts.

Tennessee? Al? Al??  Obviously the 2000 elections and "global warming" have finally driven ex Vice-President Gore insane!

77-year-old gets carded in beer purchase

He may look young for his age, but 77-year-old Swedish retiree Per-Eric Henricsson was not flattered when his local supermarket asked him to show ID to prove that he was old enough to buy a case of beer.

Now, Henricsson has asked the National Association of Senior Citizens for help in pressing the ICA supermarket in Gallivare, northern Sweden, to stop carding the elderly.

Henricsson had planned to buy a case of beer for a social gathering of the local senior citizens group he leads when the cashier asked for his ID. He said he was so insulted by the request that he refused to make the purchase and left the store.

I wonder if this jackass would like some cheese with that whine?

Obviously this codger isn't related to Ted Kennedy, who would have taken the beer and driven off into the creek.

I do not get older people. Why are they bothered about being asked about their age?

Personally, I consider every year that I put under my belt to be a victory and I am glad to tell you about it. "Hey, I made it another year!"

WHAP! FREAK!!
